We grant library borrowing privileges to family members of Wabash College faculty and staff, Wabash alumni, faculty and students of other PALNI member institutions, and residents of Montgomery County. Other visitors to campus are welcome to use our facilities but are not eligible for borrowing privileges. Interlibrary Loan services are not available to guest borrowers. Sound recordings, videos, other media, and current periodicals may used in-house only by guest borrowers.
Alumni of Wabash may obtain a photo ID card from Computer Services in Baxter Hall. (Library borrowing privileges are not extended to family members of Wabash alumni who are not also residents of Montgomery County.) Please call the Help Desk at 361-6400 to make an appointment, then present this card at the Library for registration as a library borrower. Alumni may borrow a maximum of 10 books at any time. Sound recordings, videos, and other media software circulate only to Wabash students, faculty and staff. Periodicals do not circulate.
Montgomery County residents seeking borrowing privileges should make an appointment with Jessica Short, the Fulfillment and Front Desk Coordinator. Please contact Jessica at shortj@wabash.edu or 361-6039. After completing a guest borrower registration form, residents must show their driver's license to verify their legal residence to obtain a library card. Residents may check out books for a period of three weeks. A parent or guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.
